“Merry Christmas, you wonderful old Building and Loan!”

I’ve been feeling pretty down about lots of little things going wrong lately – and one huge thing. My car’s engine is busted and the repairs meant I wasn’t going to get home for Christmas. I spent the last week being very sad and angry about that, but just in time to stop my full transformation into Scrooge, Toph & Charlie came through with my very own Christmas miracle and they’ve gotten me a ticket to Oregon!!!

I’m so happy I’m doing that overwhelmed cry-laugh thing. I feel as jubilant as good old George Bailey. I’m going to go outside and lasso the moon.  

One of my favorite holiday movies! Feeling pretty grateful for what I have these days.
